My favourite combination is diamonds and pearls, even if it is zircon or strass, clear crystal with fresh water pearls, cultured or even faux pearls. Who cares! I like beautiful, classy pieces, The ones than can make you feel glamourous, elegant, on the top of the world, no matter its value.
And, of course, preferably a vintage jewelry piece, something with a soul, a story.
